Steadfast Beer Co. Releases Innovative Gluten-Free Stout
Using Certified Gluten-Free Oats roasted by hand in custom-built machine, Steadfast creates a unique dark Gluten-Free brew.
Albany, NY; March 17, 2015 – After three years of producing Gluten-Free Craft Beer, Steadfast Beer Co. plans to release a new year-round specialty, Steadfast Oatmeal Cream Stout.
“In our formative phase, ingredient suppliers for making Gluten-Free beer were few in number and sparse in selection” notes Jeremy Hosier, Co-Creator of Steadfast, “We had to specially source our [Certified Gluten-Free] oats and manufacture a large-scale roaster ourselves to make this project happen.”
Control over the heat imparted to their grain allows for Steadfast to produce the diverse array of oat “roasts” required to develop what is one of the only dark beers available to Gluten-Free drinkers.
Oatmeal Cream Stout is available now (or will be soon) throughout Steadfast’s distribution network, which includes the following markets: NY, MA, CT, NJ, VT, and the greater regions of Portland, ME, Philadelphia, PA and Chicago, IL. Online ordering is also available to select states via a link on Steadfast’s website.

Brooklyn Magazine giving Third Rail Brewing some love

The New York City trio that is Third Rail Brewing sat down with Brooklyn Magazine for an interview to talk about their beers and probably drink a few as well.  Click here for a great read about how Kaitlyn, Loren and Larry started their brewery.

Larry has a great quote and we agree wholeheartedly… it’s all about putting Remarkable Liquid out there.

“By being transparent about where we were coming from and what our goals are; engaging at every opportunity; and — most importantly — putting remarkable liquid out; the beer-drinking community has really welcomed us with open arms since day one.”
